The VILLAGE Hotel, Swansea
Seating designed and manufactured by Knightsbridge Furniture has been specified for the first of a new generation of VILLAGE hotels with vibe recently opened in South Wales.
Chairs and stools from four different Knightsbridge collections have been installed in the pub, café and restaurant areas within the VILLAGE Hotel Swansea. The first to carry the new VILLAGE hotels with vibe branding, the hotel is in the heart of the Swansea SA1 Waterfront redevelopment area and is the new model for the expansion and refurbishment programme by the brand currently being rolled out nationwide.
The majority of the seating is from the relaxed and shapely Knightsbridge ‘Panama’ range, including a mix of upright armless and armchairs plus easy and tub models. Cube stools from the compact and geometric ‘Geo’ collection are equally at home within the refurbishment plan, particularly in areas where floor space is at a premium, whilst a contemporary edge to seating in the restaurants and casual dining areas has been created by the installation of Knightsbridge ‘Tempo’ armless chairs. The order is completed by compact ‘Hugo’ club chairs, which have been sited both in social areas and as feature seating in hotel suites.
All Knightsbridge seating specified for the VILLAGE Hotel Swansea project is from the company’s Design at Knightsbridge portfolio, a new brand which embraces collections of seating and occasional furniture developed to meet the specific requirements of interior designers, buyers and specifiers working in the international hospitality arena.
