Mollie Extends the Design at Knightsbridge Portfolio

A timeless new range of seating for applications across the hotel, leisure and cruise ship arena has been added to the Design at Knightsbridge portfolio. Created for the company by designer James A Wright, the Mollie collection includes chairs to enhance public and guest areas alike, from reception zones, foyers and meeting rooms to bars, restaurants and bedrooms.

Having evolved from the company’s successful Millie range of seating – also developed exclusively for Design at Knightsbridge by James A Wright - Mollie chairs feature the same handsome proportions, and are distinguished by slightly higher and softly rounded backs. Models include upright chairs with open or fully-upholstered arms, versatile armless chairs and comfortable armchairs in both compact and easy versions.

Elegant New Tables Partner Design at Knightsbridge Seating

The wide-ranging portfolio of occasional tables available from Design at Knightsbridge has been augmented by the introduction of two elegant new collections.

Ventura and Cadiz tables are characterised by contemporary slender legs and structural simplicity. Developed exclusively for Design at Knightsbridge by James A Wright, they partner the company’s new Lugano, Ticino and Lucia chairs and sofas for guest suites, social, dining and conference areas within the international hotel and leisure arena.

The new coffee, lamp and console tables are offered in circular, oval, square and rectangular formats covering a full spectrum of dimensions. Wood stains have been selected to match the show-wood details which are a feature of Design at Knightsbridge seating, and table tops are available in natural timber veneer as standard or in durable wood laminate for areas of heavy use. Further options include solid timber tabletop edges and a range of edge profiles.

Wide Range of Options Offered by Ticino

Thanks to its understated styling and wide selection of product options, the new Ticino collection of seating by Design at Knightsbridge has quickly found favour across the international hospitality sector, with applications in lounge and reception areas, bars and restaurants in addition to guest suites.

Created for Design at Knightsbridge by James A Wright, Ticino is inspired by timeless geometry. Two- and three-seat sofas and a matching low-level armchair boast extra-wide arms and either plain or buttoned backs, and are supported by club chairs in easy and compact styles, together with a classic upright armchair.

Fine Dining Chairs Herald Wider Collection

Following the successful Autumn launch of its Lucia fine dining chairs, Design at Knightsbridge has announced the extension of the range with the introduction of side chairs and upright armchairs in open and fully-upholstered versions.

Created exclusively for Design at Knightsbridge by consultant James A Wright, the Lucia range is built on simple, stylish lines, ensuring it will complement classical and contemporary interiors across a diversity of hospitality environments. James A Wright explains: ‘The continuity of design detail throughout the range helps to provide a smooth transition between areas of differing operational requirements.’

New Lugano Seating from Design at Knightsbridge

New from Design at Knightsbridge is Lugano, an extensive range of upholstered seating for the hospitality sector created exclusively for the company by design consultant James A Wright.

Intended to set a distinguished tone in lounge and reception areas, bars, restaurants and bedrooms, Lugano includes handsomely-proportioned two- and three-seat sofas, together with upright/easy armchairs and club chairs in both compact and easy versions. The design story throughout is characterised by graceful sloping arms and softened angles, with style options embracing plain, diamond-buttoned or fluted backs.

New Tables Complement Design at Knightsbridge Seating

A wide-ranging new collection of tables has been created by Design at Knightsbridge to complement the company’s portfolio of contemporary seating for the international hospitality arena.

Included in the collection are dining, coffee, lamp, poseur and occasional tables across 14 different design stories, reflecting the diversity of seating which the company now offers to interior designers, buyers and specifiers. Circular, oval, square and rectangular models are available with tops in natural timber veneer or laminate, whilst the ‘Harvey’ pedestal tables – created exclusively for Design at Knightsbridge by consultant James A Wright to complement his ‘Harvey’ seating – are also available with glass tops, finished with a white frosted border if required.
